The attack was carried out by two Palestinian stabbers, both of whom were shot by policewomen at the scene.

Three Israelis were injured Wednesday in a stabbing rampage outside of Jerusalem’s Old City, police said.
One of the victims was injured by gunfire, said Israel police spokeswoman Luba Samri, possibly from Israeli police responding to the attack. A 45-year-old Israel man died from multiple stab wounds, while a 40-year-old man died from gunshot wounds, hospital officials said.
Since mid-September, a wave of Palestinian stabbing, shooting and vehicular ramming attacks have killed 19 Israelis and an American student. Samri had said earlier that one of the wounded may have been shot by police officers who were firing at the Palestinian assailants.
Israeli police spokesperson Micky Rosenfeld told Ma’an that Israeli forces present in the area at the time opened fire on the Palestinians during the attack.
Bloodshed has also been triggered by Palestinian frustration over the collapse of U.S.-sponsored peace talks in 2014 and the continued expansion of illegal Jewish settlements on Palestinian territory.
Almost 130 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli military forces and settlers since violence increased at the beginning of October.

The Shin Bet said it had also found an apartment in Abu Dis rented by the group’s leader and equipped with materials that could be used to make bombs. There was no immediate comment from Hamas, which rules the Gaza Strip.
