1 dead after police-involved shooting in Kentucky
“A 30-year-old Kentucky man has been identified as the person shot during a confrontation with police in Scott County on Sunday”.

A report was filed Monday morning and a domestic violence warrant and an unlawful imprisonment warrant were issued.
No officers were injured.
Troopers say the man was shot and killed on the Woodford County side of the creek. He said in a brief telephone interview Monday night that Godines had been shot multiple times. 460, near the Franklin-Scott county line, and the man fled in his vehicle, eluding police after a short pursuit.
The coroner listed Godines’ residence as Scott County. During the renewed pursuit, Godines’ vehicle struck a Scott County sheriff’s cruiser, Sheriff Tony Hampton said.
A 34-year-old SC man, being chased on foot through the South Elkhorn Creek off Midway Road, was killed Monday evening after brandishing a pistol at officers, a court document shows.
Godines eluded the officers briefly before his auto was spotted about 5:03 p.m. on Iron Works Pike.
Officials said when confronted by troopers on a road, he took off. He later crashed into some trees and fled on foot into a wooded area, where police followed.

Investigators said the man was armed and gunfire broke out. The Scott County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources were also at the scene Monday night.
