1 dead in Dinkytown stabbing
Police say a man died after being stabbed in Minneapolis’ Dinkytown neighborhood Thursday night.

The stabbing was reported shortly before 7:30 p.m. Officers found the victim sitting injured in a vehicle at University Avenue and 13th Avenue Southeast.
Minneapolis police have said the victim and suspect were acquaintances. A police spokesman says the victim was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center where he died. Neither person is a student at the University of Minnesota.
Also at the scene was another man, who was subsequently arrested. Police say they are not now looking for any other suspects.
