Israeli members of the Magen David Adom rescue service wait next to stretchers after an underground auto park collapsed at a construction site on September 5, 2016 in the Ramat Hahayal neighbourhood in the coastal city of Tel Aviv.

Five construction workers remained missing and believed trapped underground almost 12 hours after the collapse of a tiered parking structure under construction in Tel Aviv that killed two and injured at least 24.
The collapse sent a large plume of dust floating over the area and left a crater-like hole in the ground. The military’s Home Front Command sent about 150 members of its special search-and-rescue team to the scene.
At least three people were killed and about 20 others were injured, police said.
Spokeswoman Luba Samri said that rescue services were attempting to recover the bodies of the two construction workers.
Unconfirmed reports say a crane fell onto the four-storey building, causing it to collapse.

So far this year, 28 construction workers have died in work accidents on building sites in the country, said police spokeswoman Luba Samri.
