The record-setting jackpot for Powerball’s Wednesday drawing has been increased again, as officials disclosed that a $1 million victor from Saturday’s drawing was sold in Philadelphia.

The Pennsylvania Lottery confirmed today a ticket matching four of five numbers drawn plus the Powerball was sold at Al’s Quick Shop, 1172 E. Drinker St.
The numbers Saturday were 16, 19, 32, 34, 57 and the Powerball number, 13.
The winning ticket is at least the second $1 million victor sold in Washtenaw County over the previous year.
No one matched all six numbers.
“People are coming in, they’re like ‘hey, this is a luck store, ‘” said Priven Joseph, who owns a Sunoco gas station on Cottman Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia.
The jackpot for Wednesday now stands at a staggering $1.4 billion for the annuity, or $868 million cash, the largest lottery prize in history. The retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the ticket.
Ticket sales nationally shot the prize up by more than $49.8 million on Saturday alone. “No one has come in yet (to claim their winnings)”.

A Staten Island lottery player hit the unrelated Mega Millions jackpot in Friday’s drawing, winning $165 million on a ticket purchased from the Willowbrook Deli off of Victory Boulevard in Graniteville.
