Paniagua and another passenger on board a party bus fell out of a window.
“The manager said the company is unsure how the window got open, but they believe that “…one of the passengers mentioned repeatedly that she kept trying to open that specific window for air”.
The crash happened on McClellan Highway, just before the exit for Logan Airport.
Police spokeswoman Myeshia Henderson said the driver of the bus “is cooperating”.
Police said the woman’s family has not yet been notified and there was no word on the other victim’s condition. Entourage said the group of about 20 was picked up in Boston and was returning from an area beach at the time of the incident.
The company also says they’ve been cooperating with investigators, and the driver’s safety record is spotless. “We are cooperating with Boston police and will provide officials with anything that they need to investigate this tragic accident”, Brandon Braddock, general manager of Celebrity Limousine Worldwide, said in a statement to the Herald. Police haven’t released their names.
