The largest all-time biggest lottery prize in North America was was worth almost $1.6 billion in Powerball for three tickets – sold in California, Tennessee and Florida in January.
A total of 25 players matched four numbers and the powerball to win $905.24. But the victor has yet to come forward to receive their millions upon millions of dollars!
According to officials, this marks the 10th winning Powerball ticket sold in New Hampshire and the first since 2007.
A $2 ticket gives you a one in 292.2 million chance at joining the hall of Powerball champions.
Saturday’s jackpot was the nation’s eighth-largest lottery jackpot.
44 states across the country play Powerball.
The last Powerball victor was in New Jersey on May 7; the winning ticket was worth $429.6 million. Deadline is 7:08 p.m. that day.
Someone won the $487 million Powerball jackpot on July 30, and they haven’t claimed their prize money.
