10 more years for Adrian Peterson, too

Peterson should gain somewhere between 60 and 80 yards against this St. Louis defense.

New York’s fans can take solace in knowing that their team remains top of the NFC East, and that they will not have to face Drew Brees again (in the regular season, at least). So a lot is at stake for both teams. Gurley has already shown an ability to make them consistently at 21 years old and four games into his National Football League career. When you compare the Vikings offensive line to the Rams defensive line, things look pretty dicey, unfortunately.

As Zimmer pointed out, the Vikings are somewhere between learning to win and learning how to handle winning. Although his efficiency is slightly down this year, Peterson remains one of the most talented and driven runners in the league.

Gurley carried the ball 20 times for 133 yards and a touchdown – a 71-yard run – in the Rams’ 27-6 victory over the San Francisco 49ers.

The Rams controlled Peterson early that day – five of his first eight carries went for negative yards and he finished the first quarter with eight yards on eight carries – but the 6-foot-1, 220-pound Peterson finished with 212 yards on 24 carries. “If God’s willing, I’ll just be able to walk away from the game at the highest level whenever I decide”. And the Vikings should have an edge in short-yardage “power” situations.

“I had Melvin Gordon kind of like a little bit of a bigger Jamaal Charles”, Mayock said. Defensively, the Rams yield 243.2 yards in passing and 108.2 yards in rushing. Bridgewater’s passer rating also only ranks 19 overall. Add that with the emergence of Stefon Diggs in the pass game and strong play by Teddy Bridgewater, and the Vikings have a diverse offense to go along with their strong defense. The pressure wasn’t as good overall as last week, when the Vikings overwhelmed the Lions with seven sacks.

With much of the focus on the highly anticipated running back matchup between Adrian Peterson and Todd Gurley, the St. Louis Rams are trying to figure out a way to get off to a faster start.

Vikings cornerback Captain Munnerly was impressed with what hes seen of Gurley. “That’s the one thing we can do”. “I know I haven’t played my best”, the veteran said. Minnesota is 30th in passing and the Rams are dead last.

When the Rams acquired Nick Foles from the Philadelphia Eagles this past offseason, they knew they weren’t getting a superstar. Finally, Gurley made his first National Football League start the following week, and he has been rewriting the record books ever since. “Gurley has the explosiveness to make the big plays, but also has the strength to run between the tackles”.

Adrian Peterson (Running Back): Peterson has not scored a touchdown in 3 games which is somewhat unprecedented. And on special teams, coordinator Mike Priefer designed the blocking scheme for the 65-yard punt return touchdown and called it at the right time considering the direction and the low hang time on the punt.

From the film he’s watched so far, Peterson said he would “second that”.

Where does Foles rank among starting QBs? It all depends on, I feel like, my love. “I remember when I came in and there were backs that I looked up to that I encountered during the season”.

-DE Everson Griffen left Sunday’s game in Chicago because of s shoulder stinger, but is expected to play Sunday against the Rams. The Rams certainly need to diversify over the long term.

“He’s very impressive. I like that aggression”, Peterson said.
