10 vehicles destroyed after breaking through Lake Geneva ice
Officials say the cars were parked on the frozen lake as an overflow lot for the event because regular parking was scarce.

Fifteen cars in total have fallen through the ice. Their owners and passengers were at the Winter Fest held near Lake Geneva. Park at your own risk, in other words. “But, when you have 12 cars all in a row, it can’t be good”. As ice began to give, some people were able to drive their vehicles to safety.
About a dozen vehicles fell through in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin Saturday when temperatures climbed above freezing, according to ABC 7 news.
The Lake Geneva Fire Department was working to remove eight remaining vehicles from the water using a tow truck around 5pm.
