100% Political Vendetta Coming Out Of PMO: Rahul Gandhi

Why should the Congress Party and its leaders not contest the notice before the Court? He told media over that the GST debate could have to wait for the set of issues that the Congress plans to raise first in Parliament over the coming days.

“Why then disturb parliament and prevent legislative activity from continuing?” Calling the case an example of a political vendetta at its worst, he said: “The ruling party in power is using proxy litigation to attack senior Congress persons out of political malice”.

Sonia and Rahul Gandhi’s moral outrage, however, seemingly sits at odds with the facts of the case.

An indication of Congress line of thinking was given by party leader Anand Sharma. The SPG says the court is congested and it does not want to expose the Gandhis to the risk.

“They have acquired properties worth huge amounts without spending anything”. As the accused were to appear in the trial court on Tuesday, Abhishek Manu Singhvi pleaded before the court that the accused be exempted from personal appearance on Tuesday and that they were willing to appear on a later date.

Without naming Sonia or Rahul Gandhi, Jaitley said the Congress leaders created a “Chakravyuh” for themselves through a series of financial transactions where tax-exempt income of a political party was transfered to a real estate company.

He said Subramanian Swamy, who is the complainant in the case, was not in BJP when he had lodged it.

The Congress have called the case a “proxy litigation” and alleged “political vendetta” by the NDA government. Owned by the Associated Journal Ltd., the paper presented the views of the Indian National Congress, the political party that led India’s fight for independence against the British and has ruled the country for most of its history.

He also raised the reported meeting of a Union Minister with a Muzaffarnagar riot accused in jail and his assurance of support to them.

In the Rajya Sabha, Leader of the Opposition Ghulam Nabi Azad alleged that a Director of Enforcement Directorate (ED), who had “rightly” made a decision to close the Herald case, was transferred and a new chief appointed to “reopen” the case.

She added that she was not sure about it as Congress members have been bringing up some or the other issue. But the results of legal battles are always uncertain. Is that a charge against the courts?”Jaitley asked”.

The court will hear the case on December 19. They think they can do this kind of vendetta politics and stop me from asking questions.

Price rise, GST, corruption and drought are some of the major issues that need the Parliament’s immediate attention. “May the Almighty bless you with good health, happiness and many more years of dedicated service to the nation”, Mr. Mukherjee said in his message.

Meanwhile, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said: “The Congress party is stalling the development of the county”. I don’t know whether even they know what they are doing. “Does the country run like this?” he said.
