10th Generation 2016 Honda Civic Revealed
From what we’re able to tell, it looks pretty much as fans of the brand expected it to, and it’s going to be a very satisfying entry for pretty much all people who have been waiting for this model for some time now.

The sedan, which Honda called its most ambitious remake of the Civic ever, has a sportier look with a longer hood and LED headlights, running lights and taillights.
Honda’s Detroit-based sales arm executive vice president John Mendel said during the unveiling event in Los Angeles that the 10th-generation Civic is capable of traveling over 64 kilometers per gallon (kmpg) in highway driving. According to Honda it’s a “new-from-the-ground-up design”, and while it’s really not the most radical thing to look at, there are plenty of details worthy of your attention.
“For the first time, the 2016 Civic will feature two all-new engines, including the first-ever application of Honda turbo engine technology in the USA “, read the blog post. The EX-T and EX-L trims will get the new 1.5-liter engine and a CVT.
Although Honda won’t admit it, the current Civic strayed far from the car’s roots. One is Honda’s first use of a turbocharger in the U.S. Many are simply pleased with how the future Civic is made to appear like. But increased sales will come, he said, because the Civic is aiming higher than its competitors in the compact class.
“Android Auto was designed to give drivers a simple, intuitive way through touch and voice to minimize the potential for distraction so the driver can stay focused on the road”, said the blog. Apart from this, the interior also has 3.7 cubic feet more space than the outgoing model, with an additional 2 inches of legroom in the rear seat, reports MSN Money. A 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, i-VTEC will be the standard engine option and can be equipped with either a six-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission. Features like collision mitigation braking and other advanced safety features are also available.
The new model will also be removing its multi-tiered dash and a 7-inch touchscreen display will be added as the new Pilot for the addition of Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. More expensive models will get a new 1.5-litre turbocharged four with a variable transmission built specifically for it. Horsepower and performance will be announced later.

Fuel economy numbers have not been officially release, but Honda anticipates at least 40 mpg highway. Better gas mileage, more interior room and more power.
