The boy was inside his home when he shot the girl with his father s single-shot 12 gauge shotgun at about 7:30 pm Saturday, McCoig said.

An 11-year-old boy in the USA state of Tennessee has been held on suspicion of shooting dead an eight-year-old girl in a row over a puppy. Dyer said the boy had bullied her daughter before, when they first moved to the neighbourhood. “She said no and laughed and then turned around, looked at her friend and said, ‘Let’s go get the-‘ and never got ‘puppies out”, because then the boy shot Maykayla.

Naturally, she’s devastated over losing her daughter to senseless gun violence.

The boy fired the 12-gauge shotgun from the inside of his house, pointing towards the girl as she stood in her yard, according to the Police.

An 11-year-old boy has been charged with murder after he killed his 8-year-old neighbour, police said.

The girl has been identified as Maykayla Dyer, a third-grader at White Pine Elementary School.

Neighbour Chasity Arwood was watching football when she heard a shot ring out and was horrified to see the little girl bleeding to death in the grass.

Distraught Dyer said: “She was a precious little girl”.

“I want her back in my arms, this is not fair”. “MaKayla leaves behind a brother, three sisters, her parents, numerous grandparents and great-grandparents”. It touches so many people. The 11-year-old accused killer has been taken into custody, and a detention hearing was scheduled for today. Neighbors say Maykayla Dyer was the girl killed by 11-yr old boy who lived next door.
