$134m deal to make James highest-paid National Basketball Association star
LeBron James delivered Cleveland their championship and now he is being paid handsomely to defend it for the Cavaliers.

Though the chances of LeBron leaving Cleveland again were about as close to zero as you could ever possibly get, this morning’s announcement of a new deal for James comes as a bit of a shock simply because of the terms of the deal.
James announced on Uninterruped he was re-signing with the Cavs, saying a year ago “was magical and inspiring”. The agreement sees him getting $100 million over three seasons with the third coming as an option year for the player. There were a couple of rumors that he may be heading to another team other than the Cleveland Cavaliers, or signing a very short-term deal.
