The soldiers were injured around 8:10 p.m. after completing a live-fire exercise, Master Sgt. It’s unclear whether they were inside or outside a tent at the time of the strike, a spokesman said. That soldier was in stable condition Thursday, the Army said. The soldier was taken there instead of a local civilian hospital because of a lack of bed space, Malone said. Following the strike, the paratroopers executed a safety drill.
