“Samsung is now in conversation with network providers around the world to execute the new approach”. This Korea-based company has announced a number of smart devices this year, including smartphones, tablet, and other smart gadgets.

The latest details of Samsung’s new tablet suggest that the South Korean manufacturer may once again be looking at launching tablets running on Windows in order to capitalize on the popularity of Microsoft’s new Windows 10 operating system.

The icing on the cake, however, is the presence of an S-Pen stylus, similar to Samsung’s Android-powered Galaxy Tab A and S series of slates.

However according to a report from SamMobile, it looks like Samsung is upping the ante with a tablet with a whopping 18.4-inch display.

Panasonic now has a 20-inch Toughpad tablet, photographed above. SamMobile says it “could be used in living rooms, offices, or schools”.

The device reportedly features a 1920 x 1080 pixel display, a 1.6 GHz Samsung Exynos 7580 octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a microSD card slot, 8MP and 2.1MP cameras, and a 5,700 mAh battery. The 2.1-megapixel snapper will be available up front, and the device will measure 451.8 x 275.8 x 11.9mm.

What would a person do with such a huge tablet?

Earlier this month NoWhereElse noticed that Indian import database Zuaba listed a sample device that appeared to be a Samsung tablet with an 18.4 inch display. The exclusive information received by the publication states that the codenamed tablet “Tahoe” will feature Android 5.1 lollipop and not Android Marshmallow. We’ll update you as soon as we hear anything more about the alleged Windows tablet from Samsung.
