The filing shows that the Galaxy View with the model name SM-T677A will be heading to the United States and possibly being held exclusively by AT&T according to the logo on it’s back.

This enormous tablet has been making rounds recently, popping up online on several occasions already. It was said that they are going to release more details in October, but so far no announcements were made by Samsung.

Teased at the end of Samsung’s Gear S2 launch at IFA last month, the Galaxy View is an upcoming tablet from the Korean manufacturer that looks set to be sold by AT&T in the near future. The purported Galaxy View has now passed through the FCC and the listing reveals more tidbits of information regarding its dimensions, features and carrier availability. It remains unclear at this point whether AT&T will be one of the carriers to offer the device or whether it will have exclusivity. The diagrams/sketch also offers good visuals on the rear of the device, which hosts the stereo speakers on the back.

A list of specs of a certain Samsung SM- T670 device, with an 18.5- inch display also surfaced these days on GFXBench. The screen would be about 18.6-inches.

As you can see, the Galaxy View doesn’t seem to stand out spec-wise, so we’re pretty curious how Samsung plans to market it. Except highlighting that it’s extremely huge. “The tablet measures about 17.5″ x 10.7” and has a diagonal screen size of about 18.6 inches. A few sources claim that the Galaxy View will have a 5700 mAh battery, which should ensure a more than decent battery life. On the software side, the benchmark listed Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
