Zoe Hastings a missing 18 year old girl who disappeared on her way to a church was found murdered in her crashed minivan, in Dallas, Texas, one day later near White Rock Lake.

“I got to church just around the corner, and I saw the flowers, and it made me think that I wanted to come back”, said neighbor Patricia Bradley. But by then the man who flagged him down had disappeared.

“He left… and he just seemed out of place”, Noriega said.

Dallas police said Hastings did not die in the crash, but instead died of ‘obvious homicidal violence.’ They are still searching for a suspect in her murder. Police have not released details of her death or injuries; details only the killer would know.

Dallas police have yet to identify the man who allegedly flagged Noriega down. “Our thoughts go out to her family as well as her friends that remain here at the school”. Her parents reported her missing to the police after she did not show up, The Dallas Morning News reported.

“Zoe was vivacious, beautiful, always willing to help, and a ball of energy that was always ready to make you smile”, Khelsey Tramaine Gamble wrote.

“A graduate of Booker T. Washington and preparing to go on her mission, she was on her way to an evening church service when she went missing”.

According to the website, Hastings was the oldest of five kids born to Cheryl, a nurse, and Jim, a teacher.

The GoFundMe page, along with two other fundraising websites, raised more than $30,000, as of Tuesday afternoon. “She had so much love to give everybody”, said Gunter. Many of them shared their feelings on social media.

A small memorial with flowers and notes has been set up at the site where Zoe Hastings was found Monday.

“This wonderful lovely person is no longer here. This family is incredible, and as a community, we need to do everything we can to support them”.
