1M Massachusetts voters cast ballots in 1st early voting
Ralston said Nevada’s early voting record turnout is bad news for Trump and Republicans.

Along partisan lines, 42 percent of those ballots have come from registered Democrats, 32 percent from registered Republicans and 26 percent from registered unaffiliated voters. With more than half the votes already cast in those states, Democrats are matching if not exceeding their successful 2012 pace, according to data compiled by The Associated Press.
Early voting – by mail and at polling stations – is underway in 37 states. A longer voting window is more convenient for voters and registrars, who want to process a maximum number of ballots and reduce the risk of a technology glitch hitting all voters at a particular place and time.
Forty-one election observers who come from 18 different countries will observe the US election process in Washington, D.C. and 11 states ranging from Wisconsin to California, Hernandez said. But in many states, they aren’t legally required to support that person. Nedra Parks said Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Obama support numerous same policies. Sunday’s turnouts will be a test of the efforts to mobilize African-American churchgoers to go to the polls. “The flip side of that decrease among black voters in North Carolina and Georgia is a big increase in the density of the white vote”.
How do you cast ballot? Democrats remain virtually tied with Republicans.
As of 11 a.m. on Friday, 6,736 ballots had been cast. Barack Obama carried the state by only 3%. That’s good news for Trump, who considers the state a second home.
It’s important to note that ballots are not the same as votes.
In Pennsylvania, projected to be a swing state, voters who cast absentee ballots may also change their minds on Election Day.
Merrimac Town Clerk Gwendolyn Lay estimated when all was over she would have about 1,400 early voters, plus another 200 absentee ballots.
New Hampshire allows voters who’ve cast absentee ballots to change that vote if they show up on Election Day. “This is an election where I don’t think not voting is an option”. Trump received 46 percent of the votes cast, Clinton received 36 percent and Libertarian Gary Johnson received 7 percent.
Democrats lead Republicans in Iowa, but they have been consistently behind their winning 2012 pace. The share of independent voters or those whose party affiliation is unknown is also up slightly.
None of Alabama’s four U.S. House races or the lone Senate race on the ballot are expected to be very close given the name recognition and vast amounts of campaign money available to the Republican incumbents, but there could be an exception.
“Arizona is close”, Tranter said.
Still, their vote was below what it was four years ago when Obama was running for re-election, according to early voting data from 2012.
By midday, the group had already made 21,000 phone calls opposing Ross and knocked on 1,500 doors, state director Donald Bryson said.
“Once a ballot is processed, that’s it”, said Secretary of State Bill Galvin. With 5,045 registered voters in town, that’s almost 31 percent. “I usually early vote, because usually on Tuesday, I’m at work”.
Voters casting a ballot by mail must return their ballots with a postmark dated no later than November 7. If you don’t have one of the seven approved forms of photo ID, and there is a reasonable impediment to your obtaining one, you can still vote in this election. Reid and the Clinton campaign have built an effective ground game to get out the vote early and often – and it worked.

Now, Harris and her staff will turn their attention to Tuesday, cataloging voting machines, ballot bags and signature lists for the county’s precincts.
