1st Presidential Debate: What to expect

Donald Trump was using the tweet yesterday really to mock an effort by Hillary Clinton and her campaign to really distract attention from what the American people are going to be focused tomorrow night, which is on the issues, on the choice that we face.

Donald Trump has preemptively tried to insist that moderator Holt not serve as a “fact checker” during the debate.

Clinton and Trump will square off Monday at Hofstra University in NY at 9pm. Aside from the usual questions that swirl around any presidential debate – such as the candidate’s views on the economy and worldwide relations – people are also interested in personal issues. He’s also spent numerous Sundays batting around ideas with aides. “I’m impressed with her knowledge and experience”. The refrain came up up with voters leaning toward Clinton and even those who remain undecided. But then reports surfaced in which Flowers said she would attend the debate.

The Clinton campaign has been forensically poring over footage of Mr Trump’s performances in those debates. So why would Trump even go down the road of bringing up Gennifer Flowers, who once had an affair with the president.

Clinton’s task is not only to help drive home the message that Trump is unfit to lead but also to show why a Hillary Clinton presidency would be more than a third term for the Obama agenda and Washington gridlock.

“Running down the other guy won’t suffice to make that argument”.

“I like Trump. I absolutely can’t stand Hillary Clinton”, he said. Just 37 percent say they don’t think the Democratic nominee should release more about her health, according to the Franklin Pierce/Herald poll.

Trump still trails in the polls, but he’s been closing the gap since mid-August. We’ve got a new dynamic this year.

She was particularly critical of Sen. Trump took out Jeb Bush by calling him “low energy”, Marco Rubio by calling him “little Marco”, and Ted Cruz by calling him “lyen’ Ted”.
