“I’m sad but disappointed because people have been so nice”. Now they’re learning a volunteer EMS worker who responded to the wreck allegedly stole money from the boys, reports television station WDAY.

Their dad had given them each $100 to spend on their outing, but when he and his wife received the personal items of the boys, the money was gone.
“That thought is typically not there”. “You think you are just getting up again, and you get another blow”, Kathie Kvalvog told WDAY.
“We don’t have anything left, that’s why it’s tough”, Ray said.
Tara Kimberly Lindquist of Dalton has been charged with one misdemeanor count of theft in connection with the case.
A family member of one of the victims reported several days after the crash that some cash was missing from one of the victims’ wallets, specifically a $100 bill given to each of the four boys by another family member.
Lindquist, DPS says, eventually admitted to a Bureau of Criminal Apprehension agent that she took the money from a billfold while on the scene of the accident.
She was among the first responders on the scene of the crash near Fergus Falls that killed 18 year old Zachary Kvalvog and his 14 year old brother Connor. Schwandt and Morton were both hospitalized after the crash but survived.
