“At least, Chief Olu Falae is not a member of the PDP”.
Magu said: “All approvals by former President Jonathan did not mention that it was for political purposes”.
Magu said it was most unfortunate for anyone to say that the war against graft was selective, adding that his agency is not teleguided in the ongoing anti-corruption fight.
The arms money was allegedly shared by the office of Jonathan’s former National Security Adviser, retired Colonel Sambo Dasuki, for the objective of Jonathan’s bid to retain the presidential seat in 2015.
Addressing newsmen yesterday in Abuja, Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Abdullahi Jalo, said Jonathan must break his silence on the investigation of certain stalwarts of the PDP to save the party from the public odium the probe has generated.
Former National Chairman of the party and Acting Chairman Board of Trustees, Dr. Haliru Bello, was last Tuesday arraigned with his son, Abba and their company, BAM Projects and Properties Limited over their alleged roles in the $ 2.1 billion arms deal during the Jonathan administration.
“All of you are aware that there was a dinner, where money meant for campaign was realised”. But they should know that this money was not meant for that (campaign).
“As all of you know, no single kobo can be spent by the federal government without an act of the National Assembly. We are not talking of the PDP alone, we are talking of all those that collected money meant for buying arms and this monies were taken away, collected under the guise of campaigning for Goodluck Jonathan”.
“It is known to us that money meant for campaign are given to the national chairmen of various political parties”. Dangote, Otedola and others donated.
It also said its members who are now facing trial for allegedly linked with the collection of money from the former NSA, have nothing to do with the party and should therefore carry their own cross.
“PDP has nothing to do with individuals that used their companies to get money”.
“PDP has no company”.
He was said to have jumped bail and the lawyer who stood surety for him had to be arrested in his place until his re-arrest outside the court in Lagos after he resisted their directives to return with them to the EFCC office.
“So many people that you can not even expect were involved”. Money earmarked for arms pur- chase, some people diverted it to something else. Has he done what he was asked to do with the N600 million?

“What has this got to do with the PDP?” We want anyone of these people that have been accused whether in PDP, APGA or APC to come out and tell us that the money they collected, was given to PDP or their party. If yes, then let him present the paper and evidence.
