Devin Chandler is still at large and may be driving a blue colored 2000-2005 Chevrolet Impala, police say.

The shooter walked straight in, picked a few things, said he wanted to pay and then killed 23-year-old Khasem Yousef and 17-year-old Faares Yousef sometime around 2:30 p.m. The two young men were shot in the head, execution style, according to the authorities.

Police were alerted to the scene shortly after when a customer walked in and found the brothers bodies. If you see him, do not approach him, he should be considered armed and risky. Chief Scott Tyler says the suspect “went into the store, and the two employees that were killed were at the front counter, and he walked up and shot them”.

Department of Corrections records obtained by the Miami Herald show that Chandler is a convicted felon who was released from prison in September 2011, after serving less than two years on a three-year sentence for attempted armed robbery with a weapon. An undisclosed amount of money was taken from Snappy’s after Monday’s murders. In addition to the Crime Stoppers reward, the family of the victims is also offering a $10,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the killer. They are asking anyone with information on Chandler’s whereabouts to call the Palmetto Police Department at 941-723-4587.

The family will hold a funeral for the slain brothers Tuesday following Muslim tradition.
