The show started seven minutes later at the Lancaster Fairgrounds, about 90 miles north of Concord. The storm blew through about 15 minutes after that, with about 100 people inside the tent. The injured included Marion’s mom, who suffered a head injury when a pole slammed into her, her family said.

A “place of assembly” permit is required in order to hold this type of event, Degnan said. He declined to identify them until their next of kin could be notified. An autopsy said they suffered blunt force trauma. At least 34 of those victims were discharged, the hospital officials said.
The father and daughter killed in the incident have not yet been named.
State officials are asking anyone with pictures or video from the tragedy to contact the fire marshal.
The Walker Brothers canceled two shows scheduled in Vermont Tuesday night.
The state is inspecting the setup of the tent and assessing its compliance with fire codes, he said, and information is “trickling in”.
Around 5,000 people attended the festival when a storm swept through the area.
