2 dead after plane crashes outside Fredericksburg
Police say at least two people died.

A plane crash at Shannon Airport in Fredericksburg left two people dead at 12:26 August 12, Corinne N. Geller, Virginia State Police public relations director, said. A press briefing is about to begin with the latest information.
Virginia State Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller said a small plane crash landed, and the impact of the crash caused the aircraft to catch fire. The plane made it beyond the railroad tracks at the end of the airport property, banked left and struck the tree line.
At least two people are confirmed dead after a small, private aircraft crashed in Fredericksburg, Virginia Friday afternoon.
London Police are at the scene of a plane crash at the London-Corbin Airport.
State police is working with the state’s medical examiner’s office to identify those on board.
The Spotsylvania Fire Department responding to the crash site about 5 miles outside of Fredericksburg.

Shari Acree was on board an Amtrak train near the airport when the crash occurred.
