2 dead in shooting in USA state of Wyoming

Police in Wyoming say they are investigating a letter written by a 77-year-old man who shot three people at the senior citizen apartment complex where he lived before killing himself.

Police say it started around 11:11 a.m. on Wednesday when a resident shot three people at the complex. Long identified the deceased gunman as Larry Rosenberg, 77, a resident of the apartment complex.

Police in OH responding to a report of an armed robbery shot and killed a 13-year-old boy who they say pulled a gun from his waistband that was later determined to be a BB gun. When officers approached Rosenberg, he shot himself with a.22-caliber revolver.

A gunman shot three people — killing one — at a senior citizen apartment complex in Cheyenne on Wednesday morning before killing himself as officers closed in on him, police said.

The complex employee who was killed was identified Thursday as 45-year-old Matthew Wilson.

Attempts to reach Rosenberg’s family weren’t successful.

Rosenberg gave Eastman the letter on Wednesday before the shootings, just as she was leaving to go shopping, she said. For a period of time, police officers attempted to comfort a distraught woman at the scene. Vince DeGrazio lives across the street from the complex.

A pensioner has killed one person and injured two others after opening fire at an old people’s home in Wyoming. There conditions remain unknown. The shootings happened shortly after 11 a.m. Police have not released information about what sort of weapon was used. The lockdown was lifted one-and-a-half hours later.

The Heritage Court Apartments are comprised of 32 affordable housing units for households with at least one member aged 62 or over.

Telephone messages left seeking comment with the owner of the complex, Accessible Space Inc. of St. Paul, Minnesota, were not returned.
