Two men died Saturday morning during a tandem sky dive arranged through the Parachute Center in Acampo, Calif.

Two California skydivers died on Saturday when their parachutes failed to open and they landed in a vineyard, the skydiving company’s owner said.
San Joaquin County sheriff’s officials as of Sunday had not publicly identified the new skydiver or the skydiving instructor killed Saturday in Lodi, California, 85 miles east of San Francisco.
United States authorities said the two men were found dead in a vineyard in Acampo. He did not release the names because family members have not yet been notified.
The incident is being investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration.
Despite the tragedy, the Parachute Center remained open and busy all day. No other details were immediately available.
Both victims were men in their 20s, and one was an instructor, according to Deputy Les Garcia.
Another skydiver died at the Parachute Center in February. The wind and other conditions were ideal, he said. Their bodies were found in a vineyard south of the center’s landing area. The worse injuries anyone suffered “were minor cuts and scrapes”. The skydivers were jumping with the Parachute Centre skydiving school in the region.
Salazar said she accompanied Turner to the Lodi Parachute Center as he and several of his friends celebrated a birthday.

Dause told Sacramento television station Channel 3 (KCRA) on Saturday that it appeared “something may have gone out of sequence in the jump”. “You keep going. You feel sorry for the people who can’t participate any longer”.
