Both persons arrested in the pre-dawn raids – Naimathullah Hussaini (alias Yasir, alias Abu Darda), 42, a resident of Moghalpura, who is said to be the chief of the conspiracy group, and Mohammed Ataullah Rehman, 36, of Bandlaguda here – had been arrested on June 29 as well.

The NIA today arrested the chief of the terror module busted here last month and also the man who radicalised its members as the Central agency’s probe into the cell suspected to be linked to the dreaded militant group Islamic State(IS) gained momentum. The conspiracy to detonate Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) at public places was part of his conspiracy, they said.

Reportedly, the two were arrested in connection with the ongoing investigation at Hyderabad for their involvement in terror conspiracy case. The court extended their judicial custody till July 26. It is alleged that he had administered Bayah, or oath of allegiance, to ISIS chief Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi, to the members of the group. On the information given by arrested suspected ISIS modules, NIA took Yasir Niyamadullah and Atta-ul Rahman into the custody and produced in the court. This handler, the agency’s officials said, emailed details of places where chemicals, urea, etc were to be delivered.

Another accused Abdullah Bin Ahmed Al Amoodi alias “Fahad” had procured nine Aircel preactivated SIMs from a promotional temporary stall at Charminar bus stop. The agency brought all the earlier arrested five accused to court since the 12 days police custody period grantd by the court ended today.
