21 new Apple TV apps to try right now

The bundle, now limited to select stores, offers a $50 discount on an Apple Watch Sport or Apple Watch when a customer buys a new iPhone.

This promo will run from October 30 through November 15, and to qualify, you’ll need to purchase both devices in a single transaction. It was also emphasized that the Apple Watch offer is only active in retail stores, so online purchasing won’t let you save the $50.

The promotion might be an initiative to provide its Apple Watch a much-needed increase, a risk worth taking when one sees the small $50 loss per deal. Only the Sports version and the standard version of the smartwatch are eligible for the discount, while the Edition and Hermes models are not. We’ll pay for the important points on if the offer has supplemented not or Apple Watch sales in the not too distant future.

When it comes to unit sales, Apple hasn’t said how many watches it sold to date and analysts guess that number may lie somewhere around 3.8 million for the three months ended September 26. Apple has not yet publicly advertised the promotional offer and appears to be testing its new marketing strategy in selected regions before offering the program across other regions in the United States.

Another nice feature: If you miss something that a character says, you can ask Siri “What did they just say?” and Apple TV will replay that portion with subtitles turned on. In fact, Target may launch a better deal next week by offering the Apple Watch with a 10 percent discount to customers who purchase it with one of the new iPhones. Alternatively, the discount might just be a stunt to show customers that it can also be considerate and kind. Ultimately, that means the least expensive Apple Watch would effectively become $299. The locations include Stonestown, San Francisco, Hillsdale, Corte Madera, Chestnut Street, and Burlingame in Bay Area; and CambridgeSide Galleria, Chestnut Hill, Burlington, Boylston Street in Boston.
