2nd former Mexican president unloads on Donald Trump

Former Mexican President Felipe Calderon on Saturday joined his predecessor in office in unloading on Donald Trump, calling the Republican front-runner’s campaign racist and saying his discourse on immigration is fueling anti-American sentiment around the world. “Donald Trump has said a lot about Mexicans when we have done many good things up there in the United States, no?”

‘He reminds me of Hitler, ‘ Fox told Cooper on Friday.

Mexico is the third most important US trade partner after Canada and China, and the neighbors share a 1,954-mile-long (3,145-km-long) border.

The current president of Mexico, Enrique Pena Nieto, said in August that Trump’s claim that Mexico would foot the bill for such a wall was untrue.

Naturally, after having a SECOND leader from our neighbor to the South inform him that his “make Mexico pay for the wall” idea isn’t going to pan out, Trump is a little angry.

Calling Trump “inconsistent”, “erroneous”, “egocentric” and “arrogant”, Fox said “only those who feel fear build walls”.

Mr Trump has previously angered Mexicans by suggesting the USA should build a “great, great wall” funded by Mexico to prevent people from crossing the border illegally, also stating the country was not “sending the right people”.

Taking to Twitter, The Donald demanded that Fox apologize for hurting his wall’s feelings.

Fox continued the theme in an interview this morning with news show host Adela Micha on Grupo Imagen, suggesting Trump should be apologizing to Mexicans and repeating his description of the wall.

Trump has become a popular target of scorn in Mexico, where he has been trashed in folk songs and in computer games in which players get to fling shoes, cakes and tomatoes at him. ‘I am not and he should know that. He insisted that such comments do not represent the American people. “I’m not exaggerating when I say Trump is an embarrassment to his country”.
