Three people are dead after being shot with a crossbow, Toronto Police confirm.

“With this being a four-hour-long investigation, I still have ways to go in determining what happened”, he said.
Police received a 911 call and believe one of the victims was able to make that call before dying.
According to CP24, the attack took place in Scarborough Village, the Toronto Paramedic Services said.

Two other men were injured in the attack; one of them was arrested at the scene. Constable Jennifer Sidhu says there were other “things” found in the area that could have been used in the incident.
In the east-end neighbourhood of Scarborough, however, streets remained blocked off Thursday evening as police continued to investigate.
Laura Marks, who has lived in the area for 21 years, said she was “really surprised” to learn of the deaths.
The Toronto Star reported that at least two of the victims still had crossbow bolts embedded in their bodies. Or more screening on those who purchase crossbows?
Although listed as a firearm, a licence isn’t required to buy or own a crossbow and the hunting weapons are not regulated.
