3 killed, 1 injured in Jersey Shore house fire

Two adults and two children were killed in a house fire Tuesday night, police confirmed.

It is not clear what sparked the overnight blaze in Monmouth County. “They lived very happily”, Ronald Beharry, who was also a neighbor, told the newspaper.

Police say they arrived to the scene first, but had trouble getting into the home.

Firefighters responded to the home on the 200 block of Joline Ave.in Long Branch just before midnight.

The fire was contained to the interior of the home with only minor exterior damage, however, reports have it that it looks to have started in more than one area of the house.
