Search crews were dispatched late Saturday night for a family of 6 near Redoak Creek in Brown County.
Neighbors Wade and Sharon Linville were trapped in their house across the street for about an hour as the flood waters rose and covered their driveway.
A search continued along Red Oak Creek on Sunday after six people were swept into the river.
Four inches of rain fell overnight and caused flash flooding in Georgetown and Ripley.
Owens says the mother, a son and daughter died after the mobile home went into the creek.
Georgetown fire crews responded to multiple vehicles underwater and rescued eight people from flooded roadways, according to officials.
Family members say they were able to get a small, blue life jacket on the girl before she disappeared into the flood waters.
The children’s father and Victoria’s fiance, 47-year old Tony Barrios and two older children survived the accident. The survivors were taken to a Cincinnati hospital.
