Phoenix police say that a local 21-year-old man, Travion King, was arrested with a briefcase full of jewels on the campus of Arizona State University. It was first believed that the stolen jewelry belonged to Drake.

King was identified by police from surveillance footage taken from the arena.

The “Hotline Bling” rapper and Future are in the middle of their “Summer Sixteen” concert tour.

According to investigators, someone entered the bus between 10 and 10:15pm and removed a briefcase containing the jewellery.

A representative for Drake declined to comment on the case on Wednesday and further details were not immediately available.

Just a few days after his tour bus was robbed of $3 million of jewelry, Drake is already trying to put the past behind him.

The Phoenix Police Department said the theft happened between 10-10:15 p.m. His latest album, “Views”, was released last spring. What an emotional 24-hour rollercoaster this must have been for Drake and Future the Prince. The driver told police he thought King was with the performers.
