$3 Million Up for Grabs in New Call of Duty Tournament

The Call of Duty World League will have a Pro Division with competitions in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, in addition to The Challenge Division, which lets amateur players join the pros.

Call of Duty is a huge game, but it’s not huge in eSports, a rapidly growing segment of the gaming industry. The league will feature a number of regional competitions, and the top players will move on to the Call of Duty Championship. The professional division will consist of teams from North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Think you’re good enough to make the cut?

Activision has announced a new, official eSports league for COD. The program will provide a deeper level of engagement with the elite circuit of professional gamers, while also encouraging casual fans and aspiring competitors of Call of Duty to enjoy the thrill of competition across different skill levels.

Includes: Fully customized 1 TB PlayStation 4 System and 1 customized DualShock 4 Wireless Controller inspired by the dark, futuristic world of Call of Duty: Black Ops III.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be released for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 6.
