The Tangipahoa Parish coroner has confirmed that both of the crash victims are men, but his office has yet to determine their ages or identifications. Police haven’t said whether there were any other occupants in the plane.

Thankfully no one was injured.

The runway was briefly closed while crews towed the plane.

Federal Aviation Administration officials say the plane was a twin-engine Cessna 421.

Investigators for the National Transportation Safety Board were expected to be on site on Thursday.

The crash happened just before 10 a.m.

Hopkins Airport fire crews are handling the incident. NTSB, Cessna manufacturer and the engine manufacturer will also come in to investigate Thursday.

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport had an issue with one of its planes Wednesday. It was not a plane crash. WEWS
