4 injured in gas explosion at Miami-area high-rise
There was reportedly an explosion Friday at the newly built Chateau Beach Residences condo tower in Sunny Isles Beach.

Two people were airlifted to a nearby hospital from the scene by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.The exact amount and severity of the injuries was unknown.
A spokesperson with the Miami- Dade Fire Rescue told CBS News two people were taken by helicopter to the trauma center.
Yomer Vega, an air conditioning worker who was working alongside two plumbers described the scene to The Associated Press.
Numerous Fire trucks and rescue trucks could be seen at a Sunny Isles Beach building on October 2, 2015 after a possible explosion.
“I saw one of the labourers, they had him on a stretcher because he got hit by falling debris”, said Clem Fleming, 35.
The incident happened at the building at 17475 Collins Avenue.
The affected building is the Chateau Beach Residences, according to WSVN. Sunny Isles Beach is about 20 miles north of Miami.

Footage showed a large hole in the building, debris in a rooftop swimming pool.
