A relative identified the Columbia Heights family that was killed: 45-year-old Chris Moe, 40-year-old Rae Anne Moe, 12-year-old Anthony Moe and 14-year-old Samantha Anne Moe, according to WCCO-TV.

State patrol said passenger and 25-year-old Kevin Meyer-of McGregor-sustained serious injuries in the crash. Multiple fatalities have been listed, and three people are suffering serious injuries.

There were five people, all from McGregor, in the Suburban, all of whom were taken to a nearby Mora hospital. A 2-year-old child riding in the Suburban was not injured.

Also injured, but not seriously, was Amanda Christianson, 21.

As of 4:30 p.m., the Patrol said that it had responded to more than 200 crashes statewide and that 224 more vehicles had spun out or slid off slippery roads.
