It was not a masterpiece, but the Irish beat Wake Forest 28-7 on Saturday at Notre Dame Stadium in their home finale, and they were not in the mood to bemoan what was at times a lackluster showing. Coverage of this game airs on NBC beginning at 3:30 pm ET from Notre Dame Stadium. The over/under for this game is 51 total points. Now the betting odds for the game have Notre Dame listed as a big favorite to pick up the win.

Zach Auguste added 15 points and 14 rebounds for Notre Dame and Steve Vasturia had 10 points. The result was the longest run ever at Notre Dame Stadium and the longest play from scrimmage in program history. “This year, we’re much more competitive in games (than last year)”. We went one up and when they got a goal they took the momentum.

“I thought we played hard for 40 minutes”, Krimmel said. Kizer completed throws of 14 yards to Chris Brown and 22 more to Will Fuller-and he ran the final five yards himself.

And if both the Irish and Tigers run the table and Clemson remains atop the rankings, it’s reasonable to assume that Notre Dame will get into the playoffs with the best one-loss resume in the country despite losing at least six starters to season-ending injuries. They will hope to go into the Tournament as a No. 1 seed after their stellar regular season play.

“I’ve just been working on my game wherever they put me and I try the best that I can wherever they have me”. If the Irish can clean up these things then they’ll be cooking on defense. “I’m just realizing, if I’m good at something, why not keep doing i?”.
