4 siblings killed, mother injured at Michigan home
Dearborn police on Wednesday promised to provide more details about “several significant arrests” over the weekend that potentially clear up a number of home invasions throughout Metro Detroit at a Thursday news conference.

Petri said that at about 1:15 a.m., a call first came into Taylor Police Departments dispatch regarding shots fired in the neighborhood, which is located within view of nearby Polk Elementary School. A man had called to report he had just murdered his entire family. He was on the front porch waiting to surrender to police.
Upon arriving at the family Dearborn Heights home early Wednesday morning, circa 1.15am, cops found two girls, ages 4 and 5 had been asphyxiated in a auto using exhaust.
Krause said officers tried to revive the two young children. At his home in Dearborn Heights, responding officers found four children between the ages of 4 and 19 dead. Her husband, Gregory V. Green, is suspected of killing his two daughters at the couple’s home in Dearborn Heights as well as two teens. They are said to be 4 and 6 years old.
They were a quiet family, she said.
“I always just see the little girls in the backyard, playing with their dog”, she said.
Officers tried to revive the two young children, Krause said.

The father had a history of domestic violence and pleaded no contest to second-degree murder in 1992.
The man’s wife filed for divorce in August, according to the Free Press.
Dearborn Heights Mayor Dan Paletko called the killings “a tragedy in every sense of the word”. Two girls, aged four and six, were found dead from carbon monoxide poisoning and the bodies of two teenage children were discovered with gunshot wounds.

“I figured they were a normal family”, neighbor Ronnie Jones told WWJ-AM, Detroit, pointing to a backyard patio still adorned with birthday party decorations. “They’ve been working on the house the last two or three months”.
