At least 42 people were reportedly injured when a railing collapsed at a Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa concert at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden on Friday night.

The frightening incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. while the hip hop icon and rapper Wiz Khalifa were performing onstage at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden. Things quickly escalated out of control as fans began pushing and shoving others, and before they knew it the railing was collapsing and people were falling to the ground below. The venue’s management, Live Nation, has not commented on the matter.

This is when the barrier at the front of the crowd gave way, causing dozens of fans to fall several feet on to the concrete floor.

The railing separates the sloping lawn from a covered portion of the hall in the center of the venue.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that the railing divided the pavilion’s lawn from inside seating and collapsed under the force of attendees.

Authorities said there was another concert scheduled for tonight, but it is unclear at this time whether the show will happen.

An announcer urged the audience to remain calm as police and medics responded to the scene to tend to the injured.

Saturday’s show, “I love the 90s with Salt N Pepa & More” would go on, the company said.

City of Camden spokesman Vincent Basara said code enforcement officials inspected the railing Saturday morning and found areas that were broken and damaged.
