The Fisherman’s Wharf Marriott Hotel confirmed an “overnight altercation” to BuzzFeed News, but declined to comment. It appears to be surveillance footage from the hotel, and shows Miller staggering with blood on his forehead. He then allegedly returned Monday morning, knocked on a guest’s door and was told by that guest that he had the wrong room.
Bruce Miller has been arrested after allegedly attacking a father and son in a California hotel.
The son’s 70-year-old father reportedly came out to help and was hit in the face, which resulted in multiple broken bones.
Both needed hospital treatment following the alleged attack from Miller, who stands 6ft 2ins and weighs more than 17stone.
Miller, a 2011 seventh-round draft choice, was arrested a year ago on misdemeanor domestic-violence charge, but plead no contest. The 49ers released a statement on the incident to beat reporters.
Miller was arrested in March 2015 on charges of spousal battery in Santa Clara when witnesses called police after Miller broke his ex-fiancee’s cell phone. While Miller denied the charges of assault, he had pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges, and had undergone domestic violence counseling sessions for 16 weeks.
Miller, who was drafted by San Francisco in the seventh round of the 2011 draft, was entering his sixth season with the 49ers.
An hour after issuing a statement saying they were “gathering relevant facts”, the 49ers issued another statement: “The San Francisco 49ers today announced they have released Bruce Miller”.

According to the report, Miller fled but was later arrested. He was arrested for spousal battery on his then fiancee just a year ago. The Niners initially said they were investigating the situation, then released Miller.
