5 injured, buildings damaged in Grayson County
The NWS issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Grayson County at 9:33 p.m. At about 10 p.m. the tornado sirens sounded and the first reports of storm damage.

The cities of Bells, Howe and Whitesboro were hit the hardest.
Five injuries have been reported, according to the Grayson County Office of Emergency Management.
The Nation Weather Service Storm Prediction Center said 60 million people from the Gulf Coast to the Midwest east to North Carolina and Virginia should be alert for strong storms on Wednesday.
The Howe school district is closed Wednesday due to the storms.
The weather service says there was a report of a 90 miles per hour wind gust in Sherman.
Four duplexes suffered major roof damage with beams visible.
Tuesday’s severe thunderstorms spawned at least one tornado in Grayson County, according to county emergency officials. Power lines were reported as down, and tree limbs blocked multiple roadways across the county.

A thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 11 p.m. Forecasters say a cold front is moving slowly south through central in bringing the risk of severe storms.
