A suspected gunman in the rampage that killed six people in the US Midwest state of MI was an Uber driver collecting fares in between the five-hour string of shootings, police told state media on Sunday.

A white male was taken alive and unharmed after he allegedly committed the horrific crime of shooting and killing seven people, seriously injuring another, during a random shooting spree Kalamazoo County, Mich., authorities said. Two people – a father and son – were shot and killed while sitting in their vehicle.
Uber Chief Security Officer Joe Sullivan said in a statement the rideshare service’s staff was “horrified and heartbroken”, vowing help law enforcement with the investigation.
Police ways Dalton showed up again just after 10 pm at Seelye Ford Kia on Stadium Drive where he murdered a man and his 18 year old son. She was pronounced dead until she squeezed her mother’s hand, police have said.

Dalton was arrested early Sunday in downtown Kalamazoo following a massive manhunt after the shootings began early Saturday evening. Getting said Dalton, who is being held at the county jail, is expected to be arraigned Monday afternoon in a Kalamazoo County courtroom, where he likely will face multiple counts of first-degree murder and attempted murder. “This person was just waiting in the parking lot of the apartment complex”. When it was over he had murdered 6 complete strangers, and had gravely wounded two others.
