– A small natural disaster rattled the area around Gardena on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. It was the second small quake to rattle the region Tuesday morning.

No injuries have been reported from any of the earthquakes.

It was the fifth natural disaster recorded in the area in less than a week, according to USGS reports.

The U.S. Geological Survey says a magnitude 6.0 quake has struck in the sparsely populated Izu Islands region south-southeast of Japan’s main island of Honshu.
