7.0-Intensity Quake Hits Tajikistan, Tremors Felt in India

According to US Geological Survey (USGS) the magnitude of natural disaster was found to be 7.2 at Richter Scale centred 28km deep in earth and 109km west of Murghob area in Tajikistan.

It was 111 km southwest of Karakul at a depth of 28.7 km.

A high-intensity quake hit the Central Asian country of Tajikistan on Monday, tremors of which were felt in Kashmir as well.
