76 hungry Boko Haram members surrender to Nigerian military

“Victor Moses went to a mosque in Bauchi State and pretended that he wanted to be converted to Islam and the people suspecting that he was not genuine, promptly reported the matter”. One man, identified as Victor Moses, was arrested after lurking around a local mosque, claiming he was a Christian looking to convert.
During this new operation, 850 hostages of the Boko Haram sect were freed, the Cameroonian Minister of Communication, Issa Tchiroma Bakary announced.

The military official, who begged not to be mentioned, revealed that the repentant terrorists are being detained at military headquarters in Maiduguri, which is the command center of the war against Boko Haram insurgents. But the insurgents took possession of the area back and became “landlords” after the soldiers had left.
