80-Year-Old Man Drives Rescued Pups Around Town In Their Own Mini Train

Bostick started to take care of the dogs by feeding them, taking them to the vet and made a place for them to live.

His rescue operation started as an accident, according to his interview with The Dodo.

The dogs love to run around the brothers’ farm, but once a week Bostick takes the dogs on a little adventure around town. What he’d soon find out, however, was the best mode of transportation for these trips.

He explained how he had his bright idea to make a dog train: “I seen this guy with a tractor who attached these carts to pull rocks”. Then more dogs started to show up and I said, ‘Uh-oh!

Bostick caught the eye of Buzzfeed who saw the brother’s invention of his dog train containing a tractor with eight barrels with the tops cut out for each of his playful pooches to ride in. “We live down on a dead-end street, where me and my brother have a horse barn”, the 80 year-old Bostick told The Dodo. “They all come running and jump in on their own. They’re ready to go”, he said.

And there you have it. That’s how Bostick’s dog train was born and that’s how he transports his pets (nine at the moment) to and from town or to and from the local creek for a fun day out.

“I’m getting up in age”.
