“Over the last eight years, we have seen (the President Obama) administration refuse to hold her accountable for her dismal record as secretary of state”, Christie said. “He has conducted himself with dignity”, Christie said, flattening theories that he might make the move to Fox News host once his time in the State House comes to an end.

Trump’s selection of Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as a running mate was created to build bridges to Republican donors who have either avoided supporting Trump or actively opposed him. The convention began with a rebellion by the Never Trump delegates that was quickly squashed by some strong arm tactics from Trump and the RNC.

Yet polls also show Clinton in a close race with the presumptive Republican nominee.

Clinton wrote a college thesis about Alinsky and has said she agreed with some of his opinions on social change, but disagreed with his view that the system could only be changed from the outside.

But when it came to talking about the ordinary person – it was mostly silence.

“Considering all the drama surrounding some of the other names circulated, a no impact pick may be the best result for Trump”, Murray said.

Gov. Scott Walker planned to focus much of his prime-time speech Wednesday at the convention on making the argument against Clinton, much as Sen.

Republicans at their national convention are putting Hillary Clinton on mock trial, declaring her guilty and issuing sentences that include death by firing squad, in a remarkable display of political rhetoric gone wild. “By now, we’ve heard a lot of troubling things about Donald Trump but that one’s shocking”, Clinton, 68, said.

“Al Baldasaro’s comments that Secretary Clinton should be “put in the firing line and shot” are disgusting, offensive and frighteningly commonplace in the party of Trump”, Buckley said. “But when you pull back the curtain, it was just Donald Trump with nothing to offer to the American people”.

“I’ve been in the fight business my whole life”.

A Monmouth University poll has Hillary Clinton just 3 points ahead of Donald Trump with registered voters nationally and 2 points ahead of those surveyed who are most likely to vote in November. Clinton had the near inverse of those numbers: 59% said she was qualified, while 39% said she was not.

“They don’t understand why justice wasn’t done”, he said.
