So, now schools are also falling in danger because they are buying an armored vehicle.

According to the report, the San Diego Unified School has recently bought an armed vehicle called MRAP (Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle), which recently has been used in Afghanistan by Nato Forces.

This deal of having the armed vehicle in school is enabled by a government programmer where civilian organizations can get their hands on military-grade ordnance normally for law enforcement purposes.

Ruben Littlejohn, the school district police chief explained that the vehicle will be having medical facilities, teddy bears, trauma kits, and few trained volunteers to give first aid and CPR.

However, the trustee of the school, Scott Barnett, explained this decision as a “misguided priority”.
