Woman crashed her car with a bike second time in last 16 months

A woman found accused of crashing her car with a cyclist second time within the last 16 months.

According to the report, the lady, Margaret Hodge, aged 70, Labor MP, was driving normally before colliding with a man driving motorcycle on a turn.

She later said in a talk that it was busy way where she accidentally got collided with the biker.

She immediately asked a passerby to call the ambulance but soon she found out that the biker didn’t get much injuries and could walk.

However, police thought that the lady was on her phone when she opened the door of her car which came into the path of the biker and hence the accident occurred.

Denying the charge, she said that she was just holding the phone and even she didn’t open the door suddenly.
